Accenture DigiTech IT Trip
Today a group of year 10's from Tamaki College 2018 were selected to go on a amazing trip to the Accenture Hour of Code, for our ICT trip. When we arrived in town - Queen St. We had a little bit of feed and the Accenture Team introduced themselves to us. There names were: Karl - (MAIN PRESENTER.) , Dan , Dimple , Sid -(TECH PRO), Blea , Mark - (VIRTUAL REALITY.), Emma , Timoti. We sat in a room called (Atutahi)
Unfortunately Timoti could not be there as he had other plans in Sydney, I think he was there for a conference or a meeting. But we called him on Skype. Even though Timoti was not their it still felt like he was. When I saw him on the call I thought he would be a really shy person, but it turned out he was not a shy person. He talked really proud and also gave us good tips.
Later on after all that introduction, while some people were coding other people went into a room called Mclaren Room.(R-Room). To play some games. One of them was this Batman came and like you would put this headest thing on and like also would have a controller and like it was call beacause it was Virtual Reality. The other game was killing these things coming out of the wall that was really cool as well.
I had a really awesome day, learning more about coding. I hope one day I can go back to this trip. With the same group of students. Thanks for Everything Accenture Team, I did not want to come back because the view was nice and like I was enjoying it there.
